Professional Identification Surveys in Perth
An identification survey (also called a boundary identification or boundary marking survey) locates and marks your property boundaries on the ground. At City Land Surveyors Perth, we help property owners know exactly where their boundaries are before building fences, resolving disputes, or planning construction.
What is an Identification Survey?
An identification survey finds your existing property boundaries using title information and historical survey records from Landgate. Our surveyors then mark the boundary positions on the ground with pegs, paint marks, or other markers so you can see exactly where your property begins and ends.
This is different from a re-establishment survey which legally re-defines boundaries. An identification survey shows you where boundaries are; a re-establishment creates new survey marks for registration.
